Setup Draxlr
This guide covers how to sign up on Draxlr and connect your SQL database.
Register
To register for a Draxlr account, visit the Registration Page: https://app.draxlr.com/register.
Connecting your SQL Database
Go to Add Database
Navigate to the Add Database page: https://app.draxlr.com/add-database.
Select the SQL Database.
We offer connectors for various SQL Databases, Airtable, and Excel.
Custom connectors can be developed upon request—please contact support for assistance.
Add Database Credentials
To connect your database, provide the following credentials:
- Connection Name – A nickname to identify your database
- Host
- Port
- Database User
- Database Password
- Database Name
If your database restricts public connections, whitelist Draxlr's IP address: 54.205.255.226.
Select Database Schema
You will get a list of Schema in your database, select the schema which you want to connect and click on Next.
Create your first SQL Query
Draxlr syncs your database schema, including table and field metadata. It queries your database in real time and does not store any data.
As part of your onboarding, Draxlr will guide you to create your first SQL query, which will be visualized as a bar chart.
Onboarding Completed
Once created, the bar graph will be added to your dashboard, and an email alert will be set to trigger when the data changes.
Your onboarding is now complete, you will be redirected to the Query page of the Bar Graph.
